"Square One" by Rich Lerner & The Groove is a song that speaks about the struggles of life and the need to go back to the basics in order to find one's true self. It is a powerful reminder that sometimes; in order to move forward, we need to take a step back and start over. the lyrics, the melody, and the overall message of the song are a source of inspiration and encouragement for anyone who feels lost and overwhelmed in life. The Originals

Was this band previously the Part Time, Party Time Band? Check it out
Musicians tend to network over many years playing in various bands, orchestras, theater productions, and anything else that keeps them working and practicing their art. The OG’s is no exception to that, and the current band has taken shape over the last 3 years to include former members of The Part Time Party Time Band and select new players from our network of musician friends. Original members James Whitley, Ed Blair, David Spell, and Blaine Smith played together for over 20 years in The Part Time Party Time Band. James Whitley, David Spell, Ed Blair, and Blaine Smith have now added new members to the band. Brian Taylor on drums, Russ Gaffney on trumpet, Corky Waugh on bass, Clarice Sigsworth on trombone, and Tony Smith as a lead vocalist and round out the 2023 cast of musicians in the OG’s
The OG’s present multiple genres of musical entertainment that include beach music, country hits, top pop tunes, dance music, and medleys that are orchestrated to bring energy to every occasion. We continue to play the music that defined our success in the Part Time Party Time Band: songs like TGIF, Pick It Up Where We Left Off, Unchain My Heart, Still Diggin’ James Brown, The Tams Tribute, and more.

Royal Jelly
TAKEN FROM AN ARTICLE IN YES WEEKLY:
"Powell comes off as part preacher, band captain, and clown-car attendant all at once. In a different persona, he headed the Charles Hanson Family Band—notes of which stir into his latest outfit, Royal Jelly. “We are space dust,” he said. “Time is a vacuum and my heart is a bottomless ocean. One day we might make sense of this nonsense.”
Dipping from a jar blending psychedelic tunes with acoustic undertones, Powell sees himself, and the group, at the helm of an ever-present journey. “Life really is about transformation and enduring,” he said. “Royal Jelly is the exploration of where we see ourselves at the moment.”
